Rounds

Cerebrovascular Conference:

Cerebrovascular conference occurs every Tuesday from noon to 1pm in the cardiology conference room on the ninth floor of the Diamond Health Care Centre. A lecture on vascular neurology or related topic is given.

Neuroscience Grand Rounds:

Neuroscience Grand Rounds take place every Wednesday from 8am to 10am in the Paetzold Theatre on the main floor of the Jim Pattison Pavillion. Two talks are given: the first by a staff physician, scientist or visiting speaker, and the second talk is typically given by a resident physician. Topics cover adult neurology, pediatric neurology, neurosurgery, neuroradiology, neuropathology, and neuroscience.

Stroke Rounds:

Stroke rounds are held every Wednesday from noon to 1pm in the radiology conference room. Challenging stroke cases from the week are discussed with stroke neurologists, neuroradiologists, neurointerventionalists, and trainees present.

Stroke Journal Club:

Stroke journal club happens every Wednesday from 5:15pm to 6:15pm in the neurology conference room on the 8th floor of the Diamond Health Care Centre. Stroke neurologists and fellows meet to discuss a recently published journal article on cerebrovascular disease.
